Without question, the Circle Book is the piece visitors to my booth find the most fascinating. They just HAVE to pick it up, explore the pages, and try to figure out how it works before asking, "Do you teach this?"
Sooo...for the first time ever I'll be teaching how to construct the smaller, six-page version of the Circle Book in February's class. We'll be making a themed circle book, so if you'd like to
prepare for the class ahead of time, you may wish to choose a theme or a special saying to use in your book, and maybe some text weight images, stamps, or collage papers that illustrate your theme (not photographs - they're too heavy). Otherwise, just show up and avail yourselves of our extensive library of quotations, and the many, many images, stamps and papers we already have here.
Supplies: All materials will be provided by the instructor, however, if you already have any of the following, you are always welcome to bring supplies of your own:
- cutting mat
- deckling scissors
- bone folder or brayer
- text weight collage images/papers
- stamps
- journaling pens
- gold paint pen
- UHU purple tinted glue stick(dries clear)
- ephemera for use on the covers of your book
Refreshments are provided; with 24 hours notice, any dietary needs or sensitivities can be accommodated. Just drop me an e-mail or give me a phone call, and I'll gladly plan refreshments around your needs.
You may register for this class by calling me at (928) 714-0443 or to register by email, click here: Register
Important Note: Members of our household have acute environmental sensitivities. Because of this we maintain a fragrance-free environment in both our home and in the studio. We ask that visitors and students refrain from applying perfumes and colognes on the day of their visit. Thank you!
