In this fun-filled class we'll start with a single sheet of paper and, using a fold or two here, a snip there, a piece of ribbon and scrap of decorative paper, transform it into a multi-page mini-book full of charm and intrigue. This hands on class will cover three different types of folded book; the plough folded book, the meandering book, and the pocket-fold book.
In addition to folding the books, students will learn an innovative rubber stamping technique useful for creating subtly layered and distressed background images on plain paper.
Supplies - All materials will be provided by the instructor, however, if you already have any of the following, you are always welcome to bring supplies of your own:- self-healing cutting mat
- paper scissors
- cork-backed ruler
- bone folder
- large background stamps
- text stamps
- smallish focal point stamps
- distress ink pads
- fine spray water spritzer
